Chairman, President and CEO

Mr. Strickland joined the company in February of 2007 as President and CEO as well as a member of the Board of Directors. He was elected Chairman later that year. Prior to Ampex, Mr. Strickland was Chairman, President and CEO of Medical Resources, a provider of diagnostic imaging services. He has served in a variety of management and financial positions during a 35 year career.

In addition, Mr. Strickland is a Director of Outlook Group. He received a BA degree from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Talcott joined the company in 1981 and has served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since 1987. He is also responsible for patent licensing activities, having served as Patent Counsel from 1981 to 1987. He has been licensed to practice in California, Illinois, Connecticut and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Mr. Talcott also serves as a director of Command Audio Corp., a licensor of intellectual property to consumer electronics, media and technology companies and has taught courses in technology licensing at Santa Clara University Law School. Mr. Talcott received his B.S. in Physics from Illinois Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Mr. Chiarella joined the company in March of 2008 as President of Ampex Data Systems Corporation. Prior to Ampex, Mr. Chiarella was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Fujifilm Microdisks U.S.A., Inc., a provider of data storage tape cartridges. He has served in a variety of General Management positions during a 35 year career.

Mr. Chiarella received a BS degree in Electronic Engineering from The University of Connecticut.

Vice President, CFO and Treasurer

Mr. Lake joined the company in October of 2009 as Vice President and CFO. He brings 17 years of professional experience to his position. Prior to Ampex, Mr. Lake was CFO for Acushnet Rubber Company and CFO for Geneva Ingredients Group, Inc.

Mr. Lake holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rockford College; a M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University; and an Executive M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Also, he is accredited as a C.P.A. in both Illinois and Wisconsin. His professional associations include membership in Financial Executives International, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois C.P.A. Society, and Wisconsin C.P.A. Society & Institute of Management Accountants.

Mr. Venema joined the company in July 1979 and is currently Vice President and Controller, a position he was appointed to in July 2003. He is responsible for financial reporting and accounting operations and has served in a variety of management and financial positions during a 30 year career with Ampex. Prior to joining Ampex, Mr. Venema was employed by the accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as an auditor.

He received a BS Math degree from The University of Waterloo and is a Certified Management Accountant.
